Mud runs and other races

Last summer many of my BootCampers took part in Mud Runs, 5k runs, 10k runs and triathlons. Many had never even raced before. Through dedication and encouraging each other when the going got tough they got in shape and completed every race they did. Many are already planning more races for this year with the first mud run (Rebel Race, Riverhead NY) taking place the first weekend in May.

A few highlights from last year are below:

Survivor Race, Riverhead New York - September 9th 2012 & Rebel Race, New Windor New York - July 21st 2012. Team Manny's Mudders:

Military style 5k's with obstacles such as dashing, barricade-climbing, mud-crawling, rope-swinging and fire-jumping to overcome. My Mudders tested their physical toughness and mental endurance and had an awesome time. After crossing the finish line we celebrated with beer, food, live entertainment, and many new friends covered in mud.
